Welcome to Moorly. By installing the Moorly browser extension or using any Moorly services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Moorly is a browser extension that helps you save, summarize, and organize web articles using AI. The Service includes:
You may use Moorly without an account (local-only mode). To access cloud sync and certain Pro features, you must create an account using a valid email address or third-party OAuth (Google, GitHub).
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
The Free plan provides limited access to AI features (90 summaries/month, 10 mind maps/month) and up to 500 articles cloud sync. The Free plan is available indefinitely at no cost.
The Pro plan unlocks unlimited AI summaries, mind maps, SynthMap cross-article synthesis, semantic search, full knowledge graph, unlimited cloud sync, and Digest email delivery. Pro is billed monthly ($9.99/month) or annually ($83.88/year). A promotional first-month rate of $6.66 may be offered.
All payments are processed through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, tax calculation, invoicing, and payment processing on our behalf. By subscribing, you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Service.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled.
We want you to be satisfied with Moorly. If the Service does not meet your expectations, you may request a refund within the terms described below.

We will process refund requests within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued through Paddle and typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days.
Cancelling your subscription is different from requesting a refund. When you cancel, your Pro features remain active until the end of your current billing period. A refund request terminates Pro access immediately upon approval.
You agree not to:
Your content: You retain all rights to the articles you save, notes you write, and any content you create using Moorly. We do not claim ownership of your data.
Our service: The Moorly extension, website, AI models (as used through the Service), branding, and documentation are the intellectual property of Moorly and are protected by applicable laws.
AI-generated content: Summaries, mind maps, SynthMaps, and other AI outputs generated by the Service are provided for your personal use. You may freely use, share, and export these outputs.
Our handling of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:
By you: You may delete your account at any time from the extension's Settings. This will cancel any active subscription and sign you out. Local data remains in your browser unless you choose to clear it.
By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. In case of termination for cause, you will not be entitled to a refund.
We strive to keep Moorly available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service downtime.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moorly and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that AI-generated summaries, mind maps, or other outputs are accurate, complete, or error-free. You should verify important information independently.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users through the extension's update notes or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.
